Slideway Lubricants
Unilube SW Series slideway oils are compounded oils
designed to provide the proper ratio of static to kinetic coefficient of
friction and for use on heavily loaded machine tool slideway, horizontal
or vertical. The characteristics of Unilube SW Series
slideway oil include superior anti-stick-slip performance and a tough
lubricating oil film that prevents metal-to-metal contacts and grooving of
the bed way. They are based on highly refined, high viscosity index
mineral oil and contain a tackiness additive to improve adhesion and
prevent the oil from being squeezed off the way.
