Unicorn Marino 12 is a specially formulated engine oil for lubricating medium-speed and high-speed auxiliary shipboard machinery found on ships. Unicorn Marino 12 is specially suited for lubricating gear transmissions, turbo chargers as well as oil lubricated stern tubes. It contains a balanced additive composition used in conjunction with highly refined base oils to impart useful performance characteristics such as high load carrying capacity, good detergency and dispersant properties excellent rust and corrosion protection for all engine parts. Its strong alkalinity reserve neutralizes the acids formed from the combustion of distillate fuels.
